Coronavirus: 131 new cases recorded in Ghana, sends tally to 6,486

New figures released by the Ghana Health Service as regards confirmed Coronavirus cases in Ghana indicate that the country has recorded 131 new infections.

The total number of cases thus, is 6617.

27 more persons have recovered, bringing the recovery tally to 1978. Death toll however remains 31.

Greater Accra region remains the epicenter with 4,780 cases, followed by Ashanti region which has 1,010 cases. Central has 297 while Western has 208.

Eastern follows with 106; Western North, 61; Volta, 45; Northern, 34; Oti, 26; Upper East, 26; Upper West, 21; Northern East, 2; Bono, 1.

Savannah, Ahafo and the Bono East regions have no confirmed cases.
