Keta: National Service Person embarks on House to House Voluntary Teaching

In a period where all schools and school related activities have been suspended and all teachers are on an extended holiday due to COVID-19, one National Service Person ( NSP) in the Keta Municipality of the Volta Region is reaching out to her pupils in a unique way.

Miss Rebecca Samafo, an NSP who teaches at Tegbi R.C Basic School, has volunteered to move from house to house to educate parents and pupils on COVID-19 and also give the pupils supplementary teaching and learning.

Her efforts and that of others have been recognised and supported by Right to Play, an NGO with vested interest in Education.

Her altruistic service is a testament of the values that the Scheme epitomises.

More importantly, it brings to the fore, the character building strategies put in place by management of the Keta National Service Secretariat.

Below are some pics from her exploits.
